| ![]() In today’s society where the political principles of social ideology are being transformed, one has to question the moral and ethical basis of this ideology known as capitalism. In a society (capitalistically based), where the main fabric is based on competitive principles, what message is being said to the society, family and moral structures within it? If you analyse American social structures, and how they are based within the given society, one has to question whether these principles are for the greater good or just short-term gain for the minority within the said society. The basic principles of capitalism are commercial greed and self-conceitedness. One has studied the American political system for a number of years, especially their Foreign Economic Policies, and one, yet again, has to question whether these policies are, under the principles of the American constitution, ethical, moral and justified. I would have to say they most certainly are not. In many respects, they wreak of hypocrisy and double standards. As recent events have proven, the Bush Administration have certainly shown these principles in a light which has provoked and question whether the ‘ American way ‘, is justified in its actions. As a British citizen, I have lived through two social ideologies….one being socialism, in its very basic form, the other capitalism….under the wrath of Margaret Thatcher, and the Tory Party thereafter, I have to confess, my choice of social justice and principles which govern the said society would be better served under the guidance of a socialist ideology rather than this of a greed orientated, selfish and narrow-minded ideology …… this being capitalism. |

Capitalism is based on jungle laws and greed but the greed moves you to act and do things, better than high ideals, that's the human nature. Predators from jungles are normally stronger and survive better under hard circumstances than animals from zoo. So we need to combine both jungle and zoo in our society so that the stronger would produce material goods and feeding the weaker who in their turn would dedicate themselves to sciences, arts etc. If we remove one of the halves, we will make our society unstable and short to live thereafter as history shows. |

| ![]() The trouble that unlike in the jungle it's not the most successful in capitalism, socialism - you name it - who reproduce and pass on their genes. It is quite the opposite, the least adaptable, the most dependable have bunch of kids and they demand the handouts to stay alive and go on multiplying. They will win the genetic war. It looks like the mind/highly developed brain was an aberration of the evolution, and it is not going to survive. Eventually we will all go, and cockroaches and bacteria will replace us - that is until the sun burns out .... |
